Highlights of Week 3. (:

It's the end of the week! This is the 3rd week of 2012...
I've come up with a resolution to revive this blog by making a post every week highlighting the highlights of my week. :D
This will help me look back and reflect on things that I should be thankful for. ^^

So to start off...this week...

Class chalet with S19. <3
I really enjoyed the time spent with them. I know it'd be months before I'll see them again. So I made sure I cherished every moment spent with them. Different from the last Sentosa outing, I feel that I'd changed?

I became louder, more bimbotic....hopefully they didn't think I was trying to act cute. I'm thankful I'm still able to talk to them just as before. & Now I miss them already...

MHT group presentation.

It was just right after the chalet. Felt so cui haha~ Wells I didn't have that confident feeling, Q&A session was (N).

But somehow it made me learn even more that in life- that you always have to fight for your own chance. No one will do it for you if you don't stand up for yourself. It's just like how when the teacher opens up a Q to the group, you've to fight for your chance to answer. And lastly, be confident. At this age, it's time to understand that we're not simple anymore. Be careful of who's real and who's not.

Cheer training.
On Thursday's training, I improved on my jumps. (: I learnt to squat halfway and stood up faster. During debrief, Larry said I wasn't a good flyer for juniors to train with. But it's ok, I won't let people's words get me down. I just feel I've lost all credibility as a small flyer. Most of all, I miss being good. The feeling that everyone was proud of me, & I was confident & proud of myself.

On Friday's training, we actually learnt the nats dance from Wei Hao. It was super sexy haha. Had a hard time learning it, but somehow I managed to memorise the steps, just ain't fast enough to catch up to the song tempo. So I kept practising with Hui Juan by the side while everyone were doing their group stunts. Again, I'll choose to believe that practice makes perfect. (:

CNY Eve.
As usual, we headed to 11-storey to have CNY reunion lunch + dinner. I realised it's been 2 years since Popo passed away. I miss her non-stop yakking over meals, her constant "Nice nice, eat eat eat." I used to find it irritating, but now?

Rui Cai has changed too, people grow up eventually. He's no longer the spoilt boy we remembered, I havent seen him for too long. I hope, being him, he won't get bullied by his peers. (:
